About the Founder
As a private education professional who has worked with a client base at leading specialty academies and educational organizations, Miss Ankie Yip holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Double Major in Communication Studies and Cultural Studies from York University in Canada, an additional Master of Education degree with High Honours in Montessori Education from the USA, and an Elementary Montessori Diploma qualification in Toronto, Canada.
During her experience as a Canadian international graduate student in the USA, she completed a practicum at a leading K-12 Episcopal independent college preparatory day school and trained in psychometric evaluations. She was the Graduate Program Assistant, recipient of a Graduate School High Honours award, and a team member of a TEDx independent event. In 2019, she acquired an Elementary Level I and II Diploma at Toronto Montessori Institute in Ontario, Canada leading students aged 6-12. She participated in a lab school environment and completed placements at independent private schools in Ontario.
Ankie is experienced in Montessori independent private school settings accredited in Montessori education, as well as specialized piano academies throughout Ontario, Canada. She holds an elementary pedagogy certificate from The Royal Conservatory (RCM) since 2006 and a Level 10 Piano examinations certificate. She has prior experience in public relations.

Objectives and Purpose

She is currently contributing to the field of education. She would like to leverage her theoretical experience in the private education field to add insight, initiatives, and support in foundational elementary academic subjects that lead to an appreciation for specific future professions. She brings a highlighted focus on knowledge in Montessori elementary curriculum areas such as History, Language, Arithmetic, Geometry, Geography, Biology and in-depth frameworks for the Classics, STEM, and the Arts.
